Across the 8 MINI model series in the oil finder, 0W-30, 5W-30, 5W-40 and 0W-20 are the most commonly approved grades.
Which approvals does MINI require?
MINI mostly calls for the approvals BMW Longlife-04, BMW Longlife-19FE, BMW Longlife-17 FE+ and BMW Longlife-12 FE. An oil without the right approval can cost you a warranty claim.
