Engine oil in drums: 60 and 208 litres for workshops and fleets
For the oil that covers most of your oil changes, a drum is almost always the lowest price per litre: 208 litres is around 40 oil changes, 60 litres around twelve. Both sizes are in stock, factory-sealed, and arrive on a pallet by forwarder.

Ships by freight forwarder
Drums are freight. A 60 litre drum weighs around 54 kg and a 208 litre drum around 187 kg, both well past the 31.5 kg parcel limit, so delivery to a parcel locker or pickup point is not possible.
The forwarder calls you to agree a delivery slot. Please give a number you can be reached on during the day: without one the consignment goes out unannounced, and a pallet that finds nobody home costs a second delivery run.
Delivery is kerbside. Tell us in advance if you have neither a loading ramp nor a pallet truck, so we can arrange a tail lift. Within Germany delivery is free from 59 EUR, drums included.
Used oil and empty containers
We take back the quantity of engine and gear oil you bought from us as used oil, free of charge, including oil filters and the oil-contaminated waste that comes with an oil change. This is not a courtesy but every seller's duty under section 8 of the German Used Oil Ordinance.
As a business you will normally dispose of used oil through your licensed waste contractor. Empty steel drums are one-way containers and become your property; we charge no deposit on them. Please hand used oil over unmixed: brake fluid, coolant or solvents mixed in make reprocessing impossible.

Frequently asked questions
When does a drum beat canisters?
Work in litres rather than packs, and include the freight. A 208 litre drum is almost always the cheapest per litre, but it ties up capital and floor space for around 40 oil changes. If you use a given oil less than about once a week, the 60 litre drum or 20 litre canisters usually work out better.
How is a drum delivered, and when will it arrive?
On a pallet by freight, delivered kerbside. The forwarder arranges the delivery date with you by phone, so give a number you can be reached on during the day: without one the shipment goes out unannounced. Parcels within Germany usually take 1–3 working days; a drum takes a few days longer because of that phone call. If your date is tight, ask before ordering and we will check availability first.
Do workshops get different terms, and can I pay by invoice?
In the shop you pay by credit or debit card, PayPal, Google Pay or Apple Pay, at prices including 19 % German VAT. Net prices, volume pricing from several drums and payment by invoice do not run through the shop automatically, they run through a quote. Use the form on this page and include your VAT ID and your rough annual requirement.
Do I get the safety data sheet and the approval list?
Approvals and specifications are on every product page, split between what the manufacturer has expressly approved and what the oil merely claims to meet. That is the list that counts when a claim is disputed. The safety data sheet for your hazardous substances register we send by email on request, for all the oils in one order together if you like.
Is this original manufacturer packaging?
Yes. Every drum arrives factory sealed from the manufacturer's plant, with the original label and batch number. We do not sell decanted or relabelled oil. The low price per litre comes from the pack size and from how we buy, not from where the oil came from.
How long does oil keep in a drum?
Sealed and stored dry, manufacturers usually give engine oil five years from the production date. Once the bung has been opened, count on two to three years and close the drum between draws so moisture cannot get in. Store it upright with the bungs on top, on a spill pallet able to hold the volume of the largest container: oil is a water hazard, and the German AwSV and TRGS 510 set the requirements.
