Engine oil in 20 litre canisters: the size for everyday oil changes
The 20 litre canister is the quiet winner among bulk packs: clearly cheaper per litre than 5 litres, but with no pallet, no freight forwarder and no delivery appointment.
About 18 kg, one parcel, done. That makes the 20 litre canister the only bulk pack you can treat like any other order, and for most independent workshops it is the right answer to the pack-size question. It covers three or four oil changes, fits under any bench and does not tie up capital for half a year. Only once a particular oil runs weekly does a drum start to add up.
A parcel, not freight
About 18 kg per canister, under the 31.5 kg parcel limit. No forwarder, no delivery slot, no pallet.
Shipping 6.95 EUR
Within Germany, per parcel up to 17.2 kg; a 20 litre canister ships as one parcel.

Ships as a parcel
A 20 litre canister weighs about 18 kg and goes out as an ordinary parcel. No freight forwarder, no delivery appointment, no pallet: you order it like any other item in the shop.
Within Germany parcel shipping costs 6.95 EUR per parcel (up to 17.2 kg); a 20-litre canister is one parcel. Deliveries abroad are charged according to the shipping cost table.
Used oil and empty containers
We take back the quantity of engine and gear oil you bought from us as used oil, free of charge, including oil filters and the oil-contaminated waste that comes with an oil change. This is not a courtesy but every seller's duty under section 8 of the German Used Oil Ordinance.
As a business you will normally dispose of used oil through your licensed waste contractor. Empty steel drums are one-way containers and become your property; we charge no deposit on them. Please hand used oil over unmixed: brake fluid, coolant or solvents mixed in make reprocessing impossible.

Frequently asked questions
Why not go straight to a drum?
Because price per litre is not the whole calculation. A 208 litre drum ties up capital for around 40 oil changes, needs a spill pallet, a pump and a floor space, and it arrives by freight with a delivery slot. The 20 litre canister costs a little more per litre and saves you all of that. Weigh the difference against your actual usage of that one oil, not your total oil usage.
How many oil changes is that?
At typical passenger-car fill volumes of 4.5 to 6.5 litres, three or four changes per canister. Correspondingly fewer for vans and light commercials.
Do workshops get different terms?
Net prices, volume pricing and payment by invoice are agreed individually. Use the form on this page and include your VAT ID and your rough requirement.
Do you take empty canisters back?
Our statutory take-back duty under section 8 of the Used Oil Ordinance covers used oil, see the notice above. Empty canisters are packaging waste and belong in your commercial waste stream; we charge no deposit on them.
